This 2-hour workshop will introduce the ancient healing system of Ayurveda to integrate into your daily lives at home or on your yoga mat during the fall/winter months. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda is required, just a playful curiosity to experience the wisdom of Ayurveda.
What you will learn:
Take a dosha quiz to determine your Vikruti or dosha imbalance.
Ayurvedic self-care techniques, daily routines, cleanses, and seasonal recipes to help regulate elimination and circulation.
Vata pacifying asana practice, pranayama, mantras, and mudras to support the nervous system and digestive organs.…ending with a guided meditation to promote a peaceful mind, stable emotions, space and energy to express yourself freely and creatively.
Plus enjoy a healthy seasonal dish prepared by Monica (the dish would be prepared in advance and enjoyed at the end of the asana/meditation practice.)
What to bring: Yoga mat and journal.
