This 2-hour workshop will introduce the ancient healing system of Ayurveda to integrate into your daily lives at home or on your yoga mat during the summer months. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda is required, just a playful curiosity to experience the wisdom of Ayurveda.
What you will learn:
Take a dosha quiz to determine your Vikruti or dosha imbalance.
Ayurvedic self-care techniques, daily routines, cleanses, and seasonal recipes to help reduce inflammation in the liver, spleen and small intestines.
Pitta pacifying asana practice, pranayama, mantras, and mudras to support metabolism and a fiery digestion.…ending with a guided meditation to promote a sense of passion, joy and courage.
Plus enjoy a healthy seasonal dish prepared by Monica (the dish would be prepared in advance and enjoyed at the end of the asana/meditation practice.)
What to bring: Yoga mat and journal.
