This 2-hour workshop will introduce the ancient healing system of Ayurveda to integrate into your daily lives at home or on your yoga mat during the spring months. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda is required, just a playful curiosity to experience the wisdom of Ayurveda.
What you will learn:
Take a dosha quiz to determine your Vikruti or dosha imbalance.
Ayurvedic self-care techniques, daily routines, cleanses, and seasonal recipes to stimulate the digestive system and alleviate congestion in the lungs.
Kapha pacifying asana practice, pranayama, mantras, and mudras to energize the lymphatic system and reduce excess mucus in the lungs.…ending with a guided meditation to promote a sense of lightness and rejuvenation.
Plus enjoy a healthy seasonal dish prepared by Monica (the dish would be prepared in advance and enjoyed at the end of the asana/meditation practice.)
What to bring: Yoga mat and journal.
